Leaked Details Reveal Launch Date and Price for Galaxy S25 Edge

Singapore, April 8, 2025 – Back in January, Samsung announced the fourth model in their S25 lineup called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Unlike its siblings, the S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra — which were released earlier this year, the S25 Edge has yet to make its debut. Even though the phone made an appearance at MWC 2025 last March, Samsung has kept quiet about the official release date and pricing.
That changed a few days ago when a leak from a well-known Samsung leaker, Ice Universe, surfaced on X. In his tweet, Ice Universe claimed that the Galaxy S25 Edge has been delayed. Originally planned to launch on April 15, the phone may now arrive in May or June instead.
The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out with its ultra-slim profile, measuring just 5.84 mm in thickness. Despite the thin design, it still packs the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, just like the rest of the S25 family. However, this device clearly isn’t built for long battery life. With a battery capacity of just 3900 mAh, it likely won’t keep up with heavy usage throughout the day.

The phone is expected to come in two storage variants — 256 GB and 512 GB. In terms of pricing, the S25 Edge will sit above the S25 Plus but below the S25 Ultra. According to the leak, the 256 GB version will be priced at around KRW 1,500,000 (roughly S$1,373), while the 512 GB variant will go for about KRW 1,630,000 (around S$1,492).
Given how detailed and reasonable the leak sounds, it’s likely that the info is pretty accurate — and fans might not have to wait too much longer before they finally get their hands on this sleek new device.
