Oppo Find X8 Ultra Arrives with a Slim Body but a Beastly Camera Setup

Singapore, April 11, 2024 – The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is here, and it’s turning heads with its slim build and powerhouse camera system. Despite being just 8.78 mm thick, this flagship phone manages to fit in a massive 6100mAh battery, a vibrant 6.82-inch AMOLED display, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

At the heart of it all is a 50MP main camera with a large 1-inch sensor—63 percent larger than the one in the iPhone 16 Pro Max and 69 percent larger than the one in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Oppo has also partnered with Hasselblad to take its mobile photography to the next level.

The Find X8 Ultra doesn’t stop there. It features a 50MP 3x telephoto lens with a sensor 300 percent larger than Samsung’s, and a 50MP 6x telephoto lens that’s 30 percent bigger as well. Combined with Hasselblad tuning, this camera setup is built to impress even the pickiest photography enthusiast.

Packing all this into a sleek design is possible thanks to silicon-based battery tech, which allows the 6100mAh battery to fit without adding bulk. Oppo also introduces a customizable shortcut button and quick button, similar to Apple’s approach on the iPhone 16 Pro.
