2024 BEST Earbuds for Call Quality Ranked! (Tested in NOISY Public Place) 🔥
In my previous comparison, the NOTHING ear (2) was named the King of call quality, closely followed by the Google Pixel Buds Pro. However, new products have recently been released which may have the potential to take its place. Could it be the Sennheiser MTW4, OnePlus Buds 3, or the new NOTHING ear? So, once again, it's time to compare them.
Most of the buds I’ll compare in this review wasn’t in the last one, except for some popular ones like the AirPods Pro 2, Sony WF-1000XM5 and Jabra Elite 10. So if you don’t see the product you’re looking for, check in this video.
The format is the same as before. They'll be pitted against each other in a noisy, packed mall with a loud ventilation system. There will be two rounds. In Round 1, they will be compared against each other in groups of four, with the winners moving on to Round 2, where only one will be chosen. What's different this time is a Round 3, in which I'll compare the winner of Round 2 to the previous overall champions. Why? Because newer doesn’t always mean better.
Round 1️⃣ Microphone Pickup Battle🔥
AirPods Pro 2
AudioTechnica ATH-TWX7
Bose Ultra Open Earbuds
Cambridge Audio Melomania M100
In Round 1, we'll be comparing the AirPods Pro 2, AudioTechnica ATH-TWX7, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, and the Cambridge Audio Melomania M100.
It's worth noting that if you're using an Android device, you won't be able to get that kind of mic pickup from the AirPods Pro 2, unless the app integrates noise reduction feature. This is only available on iPhones with Voice Isolation Mode activated during phone calls. However, the Cambridge Audio M100 seems to sound the cleanest of the the group. My voice sounds more robotic than the others', but it's louder and clearer. So the M100 proceeds to Round 2.

Denon PerL Pro
Jabra Elite 10
JLab Epic Lab
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4
It's a little more difficult to choose from this group because some of them have incredible noise reduction. But most of them also had my voice sounding quite muffled like the Sennheisers. If I had to choose one with the best balance of clearer speech recording and noise cancelling, it would be the Jabra Elite 10. So Jabra proceeds to Round 2.
(The Denon PerL Pro is a close second, but only because its background has more hiss than the Jabras.)

Technics AZ80
NOTHING ear
OnePlus Buds3
Sony WF-1000XM5
Except for the Sonys, all of the other buds in this group have excellent microphone pickup. However, after listening to them again, I'll opt for the OnePlus Buds 3. My voice is loud, crisp, and clear in a very quiet background. The NOTHING ear is a close runner up, but my voice was slightly muffled. So the OnePlus Buds3 gets to Round 2.
Round 2️⃣ Microphone Pickup Battle🔥
Cambridge Audio M100
Jabra Elite 10
OnePlus Buds3
So in Round 2, comparing the Cambridge Audio M100, Jabra Elite 10, and the OnePlus Buds3, they're all fantastic, but if I had to pick one, it would be the OnePlus Buds3.Because it sounds cleaner in the background, to the point to being nearly silent. As if you're in a quiet room! while its voice capture is just slightly more robotic than the Jabras'.
Final Round…
OnePlus Buds3 vs NOTHING Ear(2) vs Google Pixel Buds Pro
The OnePlus Buds3 put up a good fight against the champs. But I'm leaning towards the NOTHING Ear(2) because it sounds crisper and less radio-like than the OnePlus while remaining just as quiet in the background. They're quite close, but one thing is for sure, the OnePlus sounds cleaner than the Google Pixel Buds Pro. So, while it is not the new overall champion, it is the new runner-up to the Call Quality King, the NOTHING EAR(2).
