Some key Pixel 8a facts vs the Pixel 7a - improved screen refresh rate of up to 120hz, Tensor G3 SoC instead of G2, which brings to it the latest Gemini AI features powering its camera, calling, search and real-time language translation. It will also have up to 7 years of OS and Security updates, just like the current flagships.
This is also the most durable A-series phone yet with a metal frame and camera bar, and scratch-resistant Actua display.

I expect the camera upgrades to be substantial, and bring it up to par with the flagship Pixel 8 and 8 Pro in most areas - except for Telephoto, since the Pixel 8a does not have tele-lens. It also doesn’t have comparable RAM size (8GB), battery capacity and wired and wireless charging speeds as the flagships.
Available in 128GB (S$799) or 256GB (S$899) configs, offered in Obsidian, Porcelain, or Bay colorways. (Prices quoted in Singapore Dollars)
