Singapore, April 16, 2025 – First introduced back in 2020, Samsung Ballie is now making a comeback with major upgrades. This time, Ballie is teaming up with Google Gemini as its AI partner. Thanks to this collaboration, the smart ball-shaped device is smarter than ever. With voice, environmental, and visual recognition capabilities, Ballie can smoothly move around your home and assist you with your daily routines.

For example, if Ballie notices you getting ready for work in the morning, it can suggest an outfit that matches your preferences and the day’s weather. During its presentation, Samsung promised that Ballie could become your personal style advisor and even help with home layout suggestions.

Ballie is equipped with cameras, microphones, and even a built-in projector, making interactions more dynamic and engaging. It will also be fully integrated with Samsung SmartThings, which means your smart home devices like lights, curtains, refrigerators, thermostats, and even your vacuum cleaner can be controlled through Ballie.

Samsung plans to launch Ballie this summer, but for now, the release will be limited to South Korea and the United States. Unfortunately, there’s no exact date or pricing yet. With the arrival of Samsung Ballie, we might be seeing a fresh take on home assistants that breaks away from the stationary norm of devices like Google Home or Alexa. This innovation could be a game changer for other brands looking to dive into the AI assistant space.
